Connect with Respect: film (DVD) + handbook + materials (CD)
Code: M100
Price: £20.00

Quantity in Basket: none
'Connect with Respect' is a set of materials created out of the 'Nonviolent Communication and Urban Beats Film Project'. This project took place in east London in 2004, with twenty-one 17 year-old students from New VIc College. The pack consists of a handbook, a 25 minute film on DVD and a data CD containing the materials used in the project The film was made collaboratively by students and teachers using a ‘participatory video’ approach. It offers a lively, real time, insider’s eye to the ten weekly classroom sessions. This is not a 'professional' film 'about' a project. The camera was an integral part of the project. The HANDBOOK includes a guide to the film, and details of all the NVC learning activities used in this project. The CD has the MATERIALS in 'ready to print' format for both A4 and US paper sizes. The materials are suitable for use in educational settings with teenagers. The materials on the CD are those needed for the NVC activities described in the handbook.

Code: D113n
Price: £6.00
***
Quantity in Basket: none
This is a version adapted from one of the NVC Dance Floors (see Dance Floor page in menu). It has the same layout as the 13 Step Dance, with wording suitable for introducing NVC to young people (and to other groups where you want to use more immediately accessible language on the cards, and it does not matter losing some of the subtlety of the 13 Step Dance Card wording.) The colour coding of the cards is the same as for the 13 Step Dance. The cards are A4 size (8.4 inches x 11.8 inches) , printed in black on coloured card. Packed in a simple transparent slide-in A4 folder. NOTE: The pdf file for this 'Connect with Respect' Dance Floor is included with item 'M100' - the multi-media pack called "Connect with Respect'. The handbook included in M100 gives some information about using this Dance Floor. We recommend and request that if you buy this Dance Floor you also buy item M100, or item D100 - the NVC Dance Floors handbook for facilitators.
